Courchevel Tour

Courchevel is one of the best-known ski resorts in France and part of the Three Valleys, the largest linked ski area in the world. People come here for excellent skiing, comfortable hotels, restaurants and Alpine views, and in the warmer months for mountain walks and quiet relaxation.

Courchevel Express helps you organise a trip to Courchevel so that you do not have to work out routes and transport on your own. We take care of the airport meeting, the journey to your hotel, trips around the resort and across France, and excursions with Russian-speaking guides.

Why choose Courchevel for your holiday

The resort is spread over several levels: Le Praz (1,300 m), Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 (Moriond) and Courchevel 1850. Each level has its own atmosphere and price range, so it is easy to find an option for any budget and style of holiday, from a quiet family break to an action-packed one.

Thanks to a single lift system, Courchevel is linked with Méribel, Val Thorens and the other resorts of the Three Valleys, which means hundreds of kilometres of pistes for every level. For those who do not ski, there are restaurants, shops, spas and walks along snowy streets.

When is the best time to visit Courchevel

The ski season usually runs from December to April. The exact opening and closing dates of the lifts depend on the year and snow conditions, so it is best to check them before booking. Demand is highest over New Year and Christmas and during the February school holidays, so plan your trip well in advance for those periods. In summer the resort is ideal for hiking, cycling and relaxing in the mountains.

How we organise your trip to Courchevel

Individual and group transport is available for up to eight people, and for trips with children you can order child seats (0–15 kg) and booster seats (16–36 kg).

How to get to Courchevel

The nearest international airports are Geneva (Switzerland), Lyon and Chambéry, as well as Grenoble. From Geneva the journey usually takes two to two and a half hours, from Lyon about two and a half hours, and from Grenoble about two. Chambéry is noticeably closer. The last part of the route is a winding mountain road, and in snowfall or on changeover days (usually Saturdays) the journey can take longer, so allow extra time.

If you are flying into Geneva, bring your passports and any documents needed to cross the border. In winter, winter tyres or snow chains are required in the mountain areas of France, including Savoie, and a local driver will spare you any hassle.

Excursions from Courchevel: what to see in France and Switzerland

If you want to see more than the resort, you can set off from the Three Valleys on day excursions: to Geneva, the diplomatic and financial capital of the world; to Lyon with its historic centre; to Grenoble at the foot of three mountain ranges; and to Annecy, known as the “Venice of the Alps”. Excursions are led by a Russian-speaking guide, and the transfer from your hotel and back is included. We can also help with tickets and passes to places of interest. For details and conditions, see the “Excursions from Courchevel” page.
