This is the shortest way from an airport to the Three Valleys: the A43 and A430 to Albertville, then the Tarentaise valley to Moûtiers. On Saturdays in season the N90 road through the Tarentaise valley is busy, and the journey can take 1–2 hours longer.
Chambéry Airport is small and in winter mostly handles seasonal charter flights, so getting to the arrivals hall takes little time.
