How to Get to Courchevel from Moscow and Other Cities

The ski resort of Courchevel in winter

There are no direct flights to Courchevel from any city: the resort has only a small altiport for private planes. The usual route is a flight to Geneva, Lyon or Chambéry, followed by a transfer along the mountain road.

Flying from Moscow

There are currently no direct flights from Russia to EU countries, so you will have to fly with a connection. The most common choices are:

  • Istanbul: there are flights from Istanbul to Geneva and Lyon;

The journey with a connection usually takes 7 to 12 hours. Russian citizens need a Schengen visa to enter France.

From other cities

From Almaty, Astana, Tashkent, Baku, Yerevan, Tel Aviv and European cities, there are direct flights or flights with one connection to Geneva or Lyon. Geneva is the closest to the resort and receives the most flights during the ski season.
